"Made in Russia" International Export Forum demonstrated the Russian companies’ great concern in working on the foreign markets, as it was attended by approx. 3 thousand participants. That was announced by Andrey Slepnev, General Director of Russian Export Center (REC).
The Forum was held on November 14 in the premises of the International Trade Center. It has been organized by REC within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export". "Made in Russia" Forum is a platform for small, medium and large businesses supplying their goods and services abroad, as well as planning to enter the international market or find partners both in Russia and abroad.
Andrey Slepnev noted that the Forum has been attended by companies from 50 countries. According to him, foreign partners, being fascinated by the price and quality ratio of the local products, tend to search for Russian suppliers.
Speaking about implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", he noted that during 2019 the new trends have emerged. Industries that were previously undervalued are now becoming drivers of non-resource non-energy exports. This trend has become especially noticeable in the second half of the year. Mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and consumer industry have shown active growth . As to agroindustrial complex, growth of exports involving oil and fat, meat and fish products is measured by dozens of percent.
