REC has increased the volume of export support Q3 data shows
The data of the three quarters of 2020 shows that the volume of actual exports supported by Russian Export Center under the state programs reached $3B, including $2,752.1M under the industrial and agro-industrial complex products transportation programs, $30M under the competitive growth corporate programs, $464M under exhibitions and business missions.
For example, as of 1 October, the number of supported exporters was 683 companies cumulatively. The exporters were mostly seeking for support of agricultural products transportation during the past 9 months. Support was provided to 215 exporters. 243 companies got support to organize exhibitions, 132 – to transport industrial products, 8 – to certify agricultural products. 52 companies were able to use REC pavilions to exhibit their products abroad, and 33 deals were concluded as part of the competitive growth corporate program.
“There is a positive dynamic in all REC’s activities for 9 months of this year. This is an especially remarkable thing given the challenging conditions in which we find ourselves due to the COVID-19 outbreak and foreign market restrictions. It is safe to say that by the end of this year we will support more than 1000 exporters as part of the state support programs. Their timely readjustment, as well as the launch of a number of new programs in Q2 and Q3, gave the expected positive effect,” Sergey Vologodsky, Vice President of REC.
